Today, for the first time, I participated as a supervisor/co-supervisor of two students on the Master’s Course in Digital Transformation at the University of Maia – UMAIA. Professor José Luis Reis was the supervisor of this work, and I would like to thank him for the invitation.

Thaynanda Sena presented her dissertation, where she applied augmented reality in the cosmetics area, while Inês Ribeiro presented her project, in which she developed a prototype in the furniture area for the company where she currently works. Both did a different job and are to be congratulated.

I would like to thank and praise the examiners for the excellent analysis and constructive criticism they made of the work, as well as the president of the jury, Professor Filipe Sampaio Rodrigues, for the way he conducted the tests. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the students who attended the presentations, as they will soon be the next to go through this process.
