From September 2 to 6, 2024, I had the honor of participating in the organization of the Advanced School on Artificial Intelligence (EAIA) and the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (EPIA) 2024. These two events are essential for the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Portugal and on the international scene.

EAIA 2024: Fostering Advanced Knowledge in AI

EAIA 2024, held September 2-3, brought together experts and students to explore topics such as machine learning, computer vision and natural language processing. This event offered a unique opportunity for participants, with practical workshops and presentations from renowned experts, and I was privileged to collaborate in its organization.

EPIA 2024: The Leading International Conference on Artificial Intelligence

EPIA 2024 took place from September 3rd to 6th and stood out for presenting the latest advances in AI research. This conference brought together researchers from different parts of the world, promoting the sharing of knowledge in fundamental areas of Artificial Intelligence. Being part of the organization allowed me to contribute to the success of this very important event.

Contribution and Impact

Being involved in the organization of EAIA and EPIA 2024 was an extremely enriching experience. These events reinforce Portugal’s role at the forefront of AI development, providing a platform for scientific advancement and collaboration between professionals in the field.
