Master’s defenses of students Inês Neiva and Ana Margarida Direito
It was with great pleasure that I witnessed another significant moment in the Master’s program in Digital Transformation at the University of Maia – UMAIA: the dissertation presentations, where the students I co-supervised in this master’s program showcased their current, applied work, directly linked to the challenges faced by organizations.
- Inês Neiva presented the dissertation “FESTCONNECT: Conceptual Proposal for a Universal Digital Wristband for Music Festivals in Portugal”, under the supervision of Professor José Luis Reis and co-supervision of Professor Carlos Alves.
- Margarida Direito defended her work “Guidelines for the Construction of a Digital Transformation Metaplan for Football Clubs in Portugal”, under the supervision of Professor Rui Humberto Pereira and Professor Carlos Alves.
It was very rewarding to follow these works, as they were worthy of excellent ratings from the jury panel.
